Physioglide® Hinge:
The mechanical
movement of the Physioglide® hinge closely matches the
physiological roll-glide movement of the knee joint. The
shifting of the inner and outer hinge plates (see diagram)
lengthens the Physioglide® hinge at flexion and shortens it
at extension. This effect reduces the “downward pressure” on
the brace.
Anti-Migration
Condyle Pad:
The top section
of the half moon shaped condyle pad is positioned above the
medial condyle of the femur and helps prevent the brace from
sliding.
